- Boulevard 1945
Het Blijdensteinpark is situated at the eastside of the city. Like other parks in Enschede its named after a textile family who build a villa in 1855. When the last resident left the house, the park was given to the Enschede city. The villa then was set up as an textile museum. Currently it accommodates exhibition space and studios. The park is crossed by a main road in the german direction.
